I've been subscribing to many online coupon specials such as LivingSocial, Yubit, DailyCandy, DealPop, and Groupon. Just two days ago, I purchased four tickets to the Seattle Symphony (excellent seats) for only $96. We've also been enjoying many trips to local dessert joints. For Nathan's birthday last month, I found an excellent deal for a hot air balloon ride along The Snohomish River Valley. It was 50% off regular price, so of course I had to purchase tickets. I had been wanting to go on one for at least two years because I saw pictures from our friends, The Alberts.We went on our balloon ride today, and we were blessed to have very beautiful weather. There were clouds, but that only added to the beauty of the pink sunset. The winds were minimal so the pilot was able to direct our balloon with few problems. After our ride, we had a delicious dinner prepared by the staff. We capped off our evening at a Snohomish bar where we wa
tched the Huskies edge past the Trojans for a second year in a row.Nathan is quite a happy (belated) birthday boy.
