Boulder River

We drove up to the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie Forest this morning for a nice leisurely hike at Boulder River. It's an "old growth" forest with soft trails that go by mossy trees and waterfalls. It's a really easy hike that has little snow during the year. It's a lot easier to access than Mount Rainier National Park or Olympic National Park. These trees were quite interesting. It's as if there are two of them growing out of an old dead one.
