Nathan and I had a wonderful holiday season. My parents flew in from NJ on Christmas Day, and immediately we drove down to Oregon for three days. We stayed in Newberg and went wine tasting in Dundee, shopping in Woodburn, walking around haystacks of Cannon Beach, browsing the collections in Powell's, and dining at The Jory and at The Painted Lady.
When we returned to Seattle, my parents finally got to meet Gink and Schrödinger, who are now becoming very large boys. My parents also had the pleasure of seeing the Pacific Northwest Ballet's production of The Nutcracker (designed by Maurice Sendak and choreographed by Kent Stowell). This was Nathan's and my third time seeing the performance; we have yet to grow tired of it.
